    Community college students ages 17–35, being onboarded as front-desk employees for a Distance Education department

    Learning Theory: Constructivism (with Community of Inquiry framework)

    Instructional Strategies: Blended learning + Decision-making

    Key Frameworks: UDL, JEIE, Community of Inquiry (COI)

  • Refined through Collaboration

    Content and design incorporated input from subject-matter experts and instructional designers from the industury

  • Pre-Assessments

    Establish the learners own understanding and relationship to the topic

  • Multimedia Interactivity

    Break-up stagnant learning with paced-engagement opportunities

  • Knowledge Checks

    Ensure understanding of concepts and opportunities to practice skills

  • Simple Navigation

    Flexible and clear navigation that allows learners to track progress

  • Chunked Information

    Bring the learner in to also set the pace to how they digest information

  • Dynamic Design

    Consistent and interactive visuals that allows learners to experience active learning
